2002 Salt Lake City Olympic Torch Relay
in Omaha, Nebraska

At 6:17 p.m. on 10 January 2002, the torch that would light the Olympic cauldron at the 2002 Olympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City, Utah, was carried into downtown Omaha for a celebration at Fourteenth and Farnam Streets. The torch will be carried by 11,500 people during its 65-day, 13,500 mile journey.
